- Mrs. Regina Mary, Assistant Professor of Tamil, J.K.K. Nataraja College of Arts and Science, inaugurated the club on 01.07.2017.
- A trip was arranged to visit the book festival at VOC Park, Erode from 05.08.2013 to 12.08.2013. Around 1800 students visited the fair.
- A special lecture on “Book-The Best Friend” was delivered by Dr.Arasu Parameshwaran, Assistant Professor of Tamil, Arignar Anna Government Arts College, Namakkal on 16.07.2014.
- Students visited the book fair at VOC Park, Erode from 04.08.2014 to 08.08.2014.
- Mr. Dhandayuthabhani, Librarian, General Library, Nanjai Puliyampatti, Sathyamangalam, addressed the students on “What and How to Read” on 31.07.2015.
- Book review session was held on 11.12.2015. Mrs. S. Managayarkarasi, Associate Professor of Chemistry and President of Readers Club, J.K.K. Nataraja College of Arts and Science gave a speech on “Book Review and its Purpose”.
- Mr. C. Sudalaimuthu, Assistant Professor of History, J.K.K. Nataraja College of Arts and Science delivered a lecture on “Importance of Reading” on 18.08.2016.
- Mr. K. Selvaraj, Associate Professor of Tamil, Thiruvalluvar Arts College Rasipuram, gave a lecture on “Benefits of Learning and Reading” on 11.08.2017.
- An interaction session was arranged for the students on 19.01.2018. Gomathi, II B.Sc Mathematics, spoke on “Bharathi and his Comedy” and M. Kavinraj, II. B.Sc. Zoology, spoke on “Role of Tamilians in the Freedom Struggle”, remarkably.
