In our J.K.K.N College of Arts & Science, Department of Textile and Fashion Designing has Celebrated the “National Handloom Day” on 7th August 2023 at Senthurraja Seminar Hall. Our Head of the Department Mr.M.Anbusaravanan had gave welcome speech. Our college Dean Dr.V.R.Parameswari mam & our Principal-Incharge Mrs.S.Mangayarkarasi mam had gave a Special speech about Handloom.
Various competitions like speech, Poetry competition & Poster Presentation were conducted to other Department students. In that S.Varshini II-B.A (Eng) got 1 Prize in Poster Presentation & M.Lalitha I-B.Sc (CS) got I prize in speech competition & P.Monisha II-B.Sc (Phy) got I prize in Poetry competition. Meanwhile the Poster presentation, Speech, Poetry competition, Dance, Fashion Draping & Fashion Rampage were conducted separately for our TFD students. In that M.Gokulnath I-B.Sc (TFD) won I prize in poster presentation, P.Gayathri I- B.Sc (TFD) got I prize in speech competition, M.Gokulnath I-B.Sc (TFD) got I prize in Poetry competition,
In Dance T.Megavaran III-B.Sc (TFD) & His team got I prize. In fashion Draping S.Bhuvaneshwari III-B.Sc (TFD) , R.Srinithi I-B.Sc (TFD) won I st prize . In fashion show S.Bhuvaneshwari III-B.Sc (TFD) won I st prize, All the prizes & certificates were distributed by our Principal mam. And then M. Gowri II-B.Sc., TFD had gave vote of thanks and the session was ended up with National Anthem.
